Montana's Best-Big Sky Ski Resort
With all that Big Sky, Montana has to offer skiers, it is amazing that so few know about its existence! Known for its wide open slopes and short lift lines, Big Sky Ski Resort has one of the largest lift served vertical drops in the United States. Over 5300 acres of ski slopes and trails await skiers, with over 33 feet of snowfall each season.
Big Sky Ski Resort features twenty three lifts, 220 trails, and a 4350 foot vertical drop. The top elevation is 11154 feet. Along with the ski lifts, there are also two cable car lines available. While there are beginner slopes, most of the slopes are geared toward intermediate and expert skiers.
This secluded, mid-mountain location provides a one of a kind ski-in/ski-out experience. Enjoy panoramic views from the private hot tub on your deck. During the summer, Grizzly Outfitters specializes in mountain biking, camping, hiking, and climbing. They are Big Sky's largest full-service ski and bike shop, featuring overnight tuning services.
For the cross-country skier , Lone Mountain Ranch grooms 75+ kilometers of trails that wind their way through the woods, meadows and golf course of Big Sky . Fly fishing , hiking, whitewater rafting , backpacking, mountain biking, horseback riding and golfing are some of Big Sky's most popular warm weather activities.
Check out the new terrain at the Moonlight Basin ski area - also ski in / ski out directly from the cabin! Lone Mountain boasts a shocking 4,350 vertical feet, and is made up of a lot of expert ski terrain. Andesite Mountain is most notably an intermediate mountain, though it also boasts some expert tree runs and a giant half pipe.
For those who dare, the Lone Peak Tram takes the bold to the apex, with 3,600 acres, 4,350 jaw-dropping vertical feet and expert terrain below. Combined, the two trail networks offer nearly 5,300 acres of skiable terrain and the second-biggest vertical descent in the US, at 4,350'. Between them, the two resorts operate 23 lifts. Coupled with easy access to the slopes and an average annual snowfall of 400 inches, terrain parks and halfpipes, you can see why Big Sky has become one of the top ski resorts in the country. Need help with check engine light can you help?
I have a check engine light on in my '08 Escalade, 21k on odometer. I dont want to get ripped off by some shop diagnosing it for me so I took it by the local auto zone and had one of the experts diagnose it for me. Came back po171 and po174, the professional proceeded to sell me o2 sensors. I changed them out and he re set the light by taking the cables off my battery for 30 seconds. An hour later, the light came back on, so I took it back for warranty at auto zone to get it scanned. The codes came back and the guy found a potato wedged in my tailpipe, blocking the flow. He removed it for free and reset the light. I have made it an hour and a half so far and it hasn't come back on yet. Do you think the potato set the lean codes or could I have a loose gas cap. Any help and insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
