Scaffolding Towers Review: The Razor Deck 200 Xtra

Many times, we encounter tasks for which a ladder cannot be used. No matter if you are a tradesman or an ardent DIYer, if you are working for an extended period of time at an elevated place, you have no doubt discovered that ladders aren't appropriate for everything. To work securely and successfully, scaffolding towers are the best. These structures provide stable work platforms that eliminate the need to stand uncomfortably upon the rungs of a ladder for long periods. A scaffold tower has top-quality casters, rendering it easier to transport and reposition and making it more useful than a basic scaffolding system. A traditional ladder does not have as much room as a scaffold tower for instruments and materials. Here are some details regarding a scaffold tower that we are partial to: the Razor Deck 200 Xtra model.

Scaffolding Towers: About the Razor Deck 200 Xtra

Costing approximately £1900, the Razor Deck 200 Xtra has a full scope of facets which make it among the most effortless to operate, as well as the most secure scaffolding towers sold currently. Re-devised lately, this Xtra is made with a cranked handle which positions the outriggers quickly. Outriggers make certain that the tower has a stable stance. The tower has super-strong locking elbows that make the structure rigid. For proper hinge working, this 200 Xtra employs locking grenade pins. Integrated spirit level vials show if the tower has been assembled right, not only vertically but also horizontally. Also named bubble levels, spirit levels are glass, liquid filled tubes (normally filled with coloured alcohol). This liquid has got a bubble, and the mid-point of the tube is obviously marked. If the level is positioned next to a horizontal or vertical surface, and the bubble is at the centre of the tube, the surface is horizontally plumb or vertically level. This is probably the most significant aspect of the 200 Xtra.

Scaffolding Towers: Features of the Razor Deck 200 Xtra

Scaffolding towers such as the 200 Xtra possess numerous characteristics which add to the security and also the simplicity of erecting. For instance, this tower is affixed with fork lifting guide points to assure accurate and simple moving. The very best facet, however, is that it is a pioneering, self-assembling, single-piece work surface which folds down flat. You need no power to self-erect it; so it can be assembled by one person. The only thing that is necessary is a small effort to set it up since the tower is manufactured with balanced tensioning springs as well as a special geometry which permits it to be assembled or broken down in only a few seconds. The 200 Xtra is equipped with 3 different height settings; they modify easily from ground level. This superior quality scaffolding tower is compacted and also extremely light in weight. It has an integral ladder, and is constructed from heavy-duty tubing, that ensures rigidity. These different factors blend together to provide a scaffolding tower which is effortless to manoeuvre, lessens labour, is time saving, and lowers the danger of injury.

Do consider using scaffolding towers such as Razor Deck 200 Xtra as an alternative to ladders for working at height.
