Portable Toilet Hire Saves the Day!
In 1980, my parents got married in a beautiful church in Liphook, Surrey. The sun shone all day, the venue was really pretty and all their friends and family turned up to see my parents celebrate their happy day. They had a beautiful day and thirty years on, and three children later they decided they would renew their vows in the church where they got married. They sat down and made a list of everything that needed organising - the church, venue and the guestlist. The party was going to be in a marquee in a field next to the church and caterers were booked and menus decided on. But I realised they had forgotten one vital thing. If people were eating and drinking in the middle of an empty field - where were they going to go to the toilets? They started to panic, there was only a few days until the big day and my poor mum and dad started panicking - I allayed their fears and told them that I would take care of this detail. I felt that it was the least I could do - I loved my parents and they gave me a very happy childhood and raised me well.
I opened up my computer, and did a Google search on portable toilet hire. toilet hire surrey There was a list of companies that came up, so I rang a few of them to check out prices. A lot of numbers were engaged or ringing out, and when I finally got through to one person, they told me that portable toilet hire Surrey was hard to come by that weekend because of the amount of outdoor events going on.
I began to panic, but I kept on looking on my computer for someone who could help. After what seemed like several hundred phonecalls, I got through to a company who were based near the church. They picked up the phone and told me that there was one trailer unit left. This trailer was divided in two one for gents one for ladies - there was three loos for the ladies and one loo and a wall of urinals for the gents. luxury loo hire This unit was self contained - meaning there was no need for drainage, power or water mains, because it came with its own septic tank, generator and water supply.I couldn't believe my ears, this was perfect - this man had just saved our bacon. The receipt would be given to me once I'd met him onsite on the day of delivery. mobile toilet hire
The toilets arrived the day before the party, so this gave us extra time to set stuff up and make sure everything was prepared for the next day.
It goes without saying the party was a success. There was a point that I didn't know where one earth I was going to get a portable toilet hire Surrey. I'll always to book plenty of time in advance from now on!
What year was the Hitachi F-54G made?
Just got the portable 'All Transistor Television' out of my grandads loft, complete with the manual and purchase receipt. He can't remember when he bought it, does anyone have any idea when it was made as there is no date on the manual or reciept.
Thanks.
Transistorized stuff started to show up more and more in the mid to late 60's so I'd put it somewhere between 1965 and 1975.
Sometimes they date stamped parts back then so a look inside may reveal the age of it.
