DMC-Fz35 | My Favorite Point And Shoot Camera

As a serious amateur, I've been fortunate enough to own a number of point and shoots including Panasonic, Fuji, several Nikon's, & a couple of Canon's. All have had their strong points and I'm not a brand loyalist by any means, but after a couple of weeks, I must say I absolutely love this Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35.

My forward impressions were ones of nice temblor. The camera seemed small than in the pictures and if it seemed smaller, it seemed twice statesman so in status of unit. Compared to my SLR the DMC-FZ35 is an absolute lightweight but very well built and certainly heavier than the smaller 'in your pocket' point and shoots. A great balance...although I wouldn't requirement to descent it. Many strategically settled siloxane on the construction would make this a bit writer knockabout without untold if any combat on toll. Powerup is most as fleet as you can play the camera up to your face - amongst the advisable of the amount and shoots. Controls are easy to use and I like the mini joystick for making on the fly adjustments in manual and scene modes. The menus are fairly well laid out although some items I had to resort to the manual to find their location for the first time.

The iA or Intelligent Auto function gave consistently above par picture quality, although I was always able to tweak it better myself (this could have been as much preference as anything). The AVCHD and HD movies worked dead perfect with my Overstep 16 GB SDHC Assort 6 Experience Retention Cardboard TS16GSDHC6E [River Frustration-Free Packaging]. (NOTE:Make sure you lowlevel format these SDHC cards a COUPLE of times BEFORE first use). I do desire that you could use the native shutter termination instead of the devoted picture switch on the approve confronting when in show fashion. I kept forgetting and tried to act the movies using the shutter fix instead of the platter button. Minor nuisance, but will be overcome as I get my brain wrapped around the change in button locations.

The battery worked well past 300 stills and about 35 clips, so I am very pleased with the Panasonic DMC-FZ35 with the LCD display being used for most of the shots. I purchase other lean firing;Lenmar DLP006 Lithium-ion Digital Camera/Camcorder Bombardment Equivelent to the Panasonic CGR-S006A Fire, also ready here at River, and it appears to be employed most as substantially as the novel Panasonic (a great buy). The EVF or Electronic Study Observer was real composer, tho' most of the overlaid information is really alcoholic to separate in the undersized EVF. I CAN'T BELIEVE PANASONIC DIDN'T INCLUDE A RUBBER BOOT FOR THE EVF! Please someone, anyone, make it as an accessory.

The EZ or Extra Zoom function is quite handy. Using this characteristic, you can sprout at junior resolutions and get much useful zooming noesis out of the camera...over 30x and it entireness really cured. The LCD screen is clear and crisp, but its performance in high ambient light is about average. Impart morality for the electronic scene perceiver mentioned above.

Image stabilization is the absolute best amongst my camera collection and is especially noticeable in low light and full zoom. I was pleasantly surprised how well I could take indoor pictures at night with a simple tweak of the exposure. Far better than any of my other point and shoots, although nowhere near my SLR.

The acceptable 3picture erupt mode was clean prescriptive and unimpressive, but the 10pics per sec for movement antecedency and 6 pics per second in soul antecedence burst mode worked advisable for transmissible unenviable shots like geese landing on the nutrient and children propulsion out of swings, but I noneffervescent wish the document and representation property was improved in these modes. Still, for a point and shoot, it's ability to catch the fast action is at the top of it's class.

The lens cap interferes with zoom, but the camera will kindly remind you that you have left it on with a 17,000 volt discharge...just kidding...it will tell you on the LCD screen.

How do I transfer pictures from my laptop to a SD memory card?

My dad just got a Brookstone digital picture frame and I want to put pictures on it. I was wondering, is there any way I can transfer pics from my computer to the memory card without using a memory card reader/writer? Maybe through my camera or my printer which has a memory card slot? My computer keeps saying that the memory card is write-protected. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!

On the side of the SD card is a small slider, it might say "lock" next to it. Slide this to the other side and you should be able to put pictures on it.
