Another Boring Article About Printers And Technology
First, there was the typewriter. If you were born before the 1970s or '80s, you will have "fond" memories of the typewriter. At the time, it was a stellar invention because it saved writers lots of time and made their projects look very smooth. Reports, papers, and writing started to look uniform and organized. But there was one problem: the dreaded typo. Ugh oh. When you made a typo, you had to start your writing over or just type over it and hope it looked fine.
The whole planet today is accustomed to the ride-easy typing of the PC on programs like Microsoft Word. Obviously it was out with the old and in with the new. When you make a error on the computer, you just hit the delete button and that was all; you did not have the two grisly options that you had with the typewriter anymore
Ok, maybe this is still obvious, but The printer now made it possible to transfer words on a screen to words on a paper. Just hit the print button and..boom! Your document is ready! Ah, life is so grand sometimes, eh?
The first printing machine—well, was the printing press invented by Johannes Gutenberg, but the first laser printer, which is relevant to our article, was invented by Xerox in 1969. The first corporation to make a commercial laser printer, however, was IBM in 1975 with their model called the IBM 3800.
So the rest of this article is about printers. Today's printers have more features than ever. Not only are there laser printers thesedays, but now there are deskjets and impact printers, all-in-one printers and so on.
Deskjets are known for being cheap but reliable. Even as recently as a few years ago, deskjets were expensive and their output was not that good. Today, deskjets are oth cheaper and more effective. So in my opinion, these printers are of very good value. Deskjets are good in the home. They are smaller than their laserjet counterparts. I actually bought a deskjet just recently.
Laserjet printers are good because they can handle a lot of print jobs and can print very fast. They also usually have a toner that last seemingly forever. They are expensive, but are definitely workhorses. Just think that deskjets are for the home usually, and inkjets are for the office.
Unfortunately, I am not well versed in 3D printers or dot matrix printers. But I don't think most regular household buyers are looking for those items. They basically only prefer the printers that print on paper, not objects, in the 3D printer's case. What I mean is that most consumers either purchase the deskjet or the laser printer. A trendy and popular printer thesedays is the all-in-one.
Why? Because they are cheap and offer a great bang for their buck. They have everything an office environment needs. Instead of purchasing a fax machine , a printer, and a copier individually, you get them all in one.
Recall that these are all just my opions and you can do whatever you want with them. But one thing's for certain. I bet you'd rather possess a printer than a typewriter, unless you are antique shopping.
Are there certain topics that you have gotten a lot of mileage from when asking or answering q's here?
Printers, violent kitchen utensils, angry printers, laying eggs, interdimensional vortex inside your dryer, platypus and hairballs are on my list.
What a FREAKISH coincidence! Those are the same answers that are on MY list!!!
