What's wrong with my computer?

So my desktop computer shut off by itself two times in a row and then it went dead, won't turn on at all. Then i googled and found someone with the same story in some forum i can't remember, and read that he replaced his power supply and that was what fixed it. So I went out and bought a new power supply and replaced my old one (after watching some DIY videos- i'm so not a techie), and it still won't turn on. neither fans, the one over the cpu and the one attached to the case will turn on.

What could it be?

>It might be that your cpu has had it...its rare, but it does happen. It could also be the motherboard if you have a bad capacitor, especially any that are electrolytic rather than solid state.
