i went to clean and reformat my external hard drive through command prompt and accidentally started to clean my external hard drive but i closed the window before it was done and now i cant seem to find my ext hard drive in my computer and cant seem to be able to use it at all. did i completely screw up my ext hard drive?

im guessing, it could've have deleted everything, but it couldve deleted some mandatory files, try to get a HDD recovery program off google and it should work
