1) Windows will not launch in
Normal mode - stops at wallpaper (no icons, task bar, or start menu) - Task manager will launch
Safe mode - stops after selecting administrator
Safe mode w/ comm prompt - launches
2) No restore dates - whatever hijacked my computer disabled system restore, which I have now enabled
3) When burning antivirus/malware programs...will install, but will not run for more than 4 secs...when they are exited
4) When trying to type in commands the error...may not have permissions occurs often
5) I'm sure there is more, but at this point I have lost track of all of the complications.
Please, if anybody has any suggestion as to what I should do, it would be most appreciated! I am running Windows XP and do not have a disk.
